District One admission policy revision from 2003

The community school board passed a resolution to amend the schools of choice admission policy to include additional criteria for selection in oversubscribed schools, such as economic status and linguistic ability. The Central Board never approved the resolution due to objections and stonewalling by the BoE General Counsel. The school boards were dissolved as a component of mayoral control shortly thereafter.
